Our Story
Established as a printing works more than 50 years ago, BSC Stationery Sales is today a diversified manufacturer and importer of paper products, stationery for home, office and school use.
The group’s objective is to supply customers with quality stationery and paper products at competitive prices, while taking pride in efficient customer service.
The original company was housed in an industrial building in downtown Brakpan, but as the group began to expand in the middle 1990’s operations were moved to larger premises at Apex Industrial Sites, located on the eastern side of Benoni. The Apex site housed three manufacturing plants as well as several bulk storage facilities.
In 2021 BSC Stationery Sales expanded once again and relocated to Cleveland Johannesburg, while our manufacturing plant and a section of our bulk storage facilities remained in Apex Industrial Sites. Our new site is the Head Quarters for BSC Stationery Sales and consists of several bulk storage facilities. With a secondary warehouse located in Cape Town and a sales presence across South Africa, such as Port Elizabeth, Durban, Limpopo, Easter Cape, Nelspruit, Gauteng and surrounding areas.
BSC Stationery Sales has established itself as a leader in stationery and consumables with over 2000 lines under our brands that we have exclusive distribution rights to. Our brands include: Treeline, Collosso, iWrite, iWrite Colours, Leo Envelopes, SDS, Stick’N, STD, Unitac, Cobalt, Drink Water and Xtreem.
BSC Stationery Sales are also Wholsale distributors of international brands such as Artline, Uni, Bic, Bostik, Brother, Butterfly, Henkel, Penflex, Pentel, Pilot, Sandisk, Staedtler, Tower, to name a few.

BSC is proud to be involved in educational and fundraising events, by interacting with children and the less fortunate. We thrive in being a helping hand and assisting the community to grow and evolve as much as possible.
Our Factory
BSC is a manufacturer, importer and a wholesale distributor of a variety of stationery products. On the manufacturing side, this division produces an array of paper stationery items such as examination pads, exercise books, counter books, college books, receipt, statement and invoice books. There is a division dedicated to manufacturing metal related products such as file fasteners, spiral mechanism’s used for binding, paper binders, clipboard, spring clip box files, etc. There is also a dedicated file factory which produces lever arch files, comprising hard board purchased locally and file mechanisms which are imported from the Far East. The division also imports products such as calculators, punches, staplers, specialized pens, card holders, plastic folders to mention but a few items.
In the middle 1990’s the Company acquired an existing envelope business and started selling envelopes under the trade name “Leo Envelopes”. There is a separate manufacturing plant for the envelope business at our Apex Branch. LEO Envelopes manufactures a wide variety of envelopes from Pocket envelopes to banker envelopes in a variety of sizes.
